You and the producer will discuss the hours for the project, and you will both confirm these hours before the shoot.

The average production at Set Scouter sees is a 1-2 day production, with about a 10-12 hour day. This is normally what you can expect with most initial inquiries, and what we suggest you based your daily rate around.

If the production goes beyond the agreed upon hours, Set Scouter will collect overtime fees from the producer's security deposit. This will be added to your location payout and you will receive these fees along with your location rental.

A 10% transfer fee will be deducted from all overtime fee payments. Regular rental rates are not subject to a transfer fee.

For example, if a producer rents a location for $500 and incurs an overtime fee of $100, Set Scouter will withhold 10% as a transfer fee from the overtime fee only. The homeowner will receive $500 + $90 (original rental price + overtime, less transfer fee)
